Conde Nast Travel Video – Sunset Sail at Sail Old San Juan

Sunset Sail on San Juan bay.  The crew from Conde Nast sailed with us on a nice sunset sail ride.  Due to light winds Captain Sebastian pulled out the asymmetrical spinnaker for a nice run back into the bay past El Morro.
Chili Pepper’s asymmetrical spinnaker can be used for light wind sailing or for a turbo boost when the wind is on.  The Selden bowsprit extends when needed, and the Doyle asymmetric is furled on a Selden top-down furler.  This enables the Captain to single hand the spinnaker on light days such as this.

Asymmetrical Spinnaker – 

An asymmetrical furling spinnaker powers Chili Pepper on broad reaches.  When the wind picks up and the guests are up for a fun ride, the spinnaker makes the boat take-off.
